“Having postponed an external evaluation in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nomination Committee decided to proceed with the Board and Committee evaluation in 2021. Although the evaluation was undertaken in line with social distancing guidelines meaning that interviews and the observation of meetings were undertaken online, this did not detract from the scope or the depth of Mr Moynihan’s evaluation. The evaluation was very thorough throughout, from the breadth of the documentation which Mr Moynihan reviewed to the detail of the evaluation report and its recommendations.
